Justin Turkat is an investor, board member and operator with extensive experience driving enterprise value in the US and Japanese advanced technology ecosystems. He primarily focuses on AI, next-gen compute and networking, advanced manufacturing and cyber.

Prior to SIP Capital, Justin led investments and market expansion efforts for a broad range of companies, including iSpace (first-round investor, TYO:9348), Royal Gate (acquired by Daiwa House Group (TYO:1925), Caraway (first-round investor) and Flashpoint (majority acquisition by Audax Private Equity), among others. Justin was also the founder and chairman of Carnegie Hall’s first-ever, overseas music education patron program, Notables Japan.

Justin began his career as an attorney at Allen and Overy in New York and London, and then Grubman Shire, where he represented clients such as Madonna, Robert De Niro, and Amazon.

Justin holds a BBA in Business from the University of Michigan, and a JD from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
